Sorry if that turned out a bit small...but it was too cute to resist.  You can send your own personalised letters from Guernsey on the GLPPPS official book blog.

It's a little neglected these days, but it's still got some interesting bits, such as:

• A Google-map of the high points of Guernsey, as mentioned in the book,
• an interview with Annie Barrows and
• the Send a Letter email stationery.

Fun!  There's plenty to see.

And thinking of war time, got me thinking of war fashion and hairstyles!!  (It wasn't too tenuous a leap was it?!)

Here's a really cute hairstyle, and the tutorial to go with it, to get yourself the very kind of 'do' that perhaps the women in this book were sporting!



So yay, book club Guernsey Literary style!  If you haven't read it I'd highly recommend "The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer.  Enjoy :)
